With its stars dressed head-to-toe in must-have fashion, hit U.S. show Gossip Girl is famed for its roll-call of desirable labels.
So New Look's latest collection must seem something of a bargain for actress Taylor Momsen, who has just been revealed as the face of the British High Street store.
The 16-year-old, who plays Jenny Humphrey in the series, follows in the footsteps of Alexa Chung, Kimberley Walsh and Agyness Deyn, and appears in the spring-summer 2010 campaign.
Rebel: Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl, has become the latest face of New Look
With her white-blonde hair and smoky eyes, the actress lends a rock-chic look to the collection, in keeping with what has been dubbed the 'grunge-luxe' style of her Upper East Side alter-ego.

But it's not just her on-screen character for which Momsen is feted. Her couldn't-care-less image has made her a rebel icon for thousands of teenage fans, not least for having quit school aged 14 to become lead singer for the band Pretty Reckless, which she now juggles with her role on Gossip Girl.

Devil-may-care: Momsen has been slammed for smoking
And to the mothers worried that she could be a negative influence on their impressionable teenage daughters? 'To be honest, I don’t f****** care,' she said in an interview last month.
'I didn’t get into this to be a role model. So I'm sorry if I’m influencing your kids in a way that you don’t like, but I can’t be responsible for their actions. I don’t care.'
And she really doesn't - already she has been slammed for her smoking habit, and when an interviewer quizzed her about her efforts to help Haiti in the wake of last month's devastating earthquake, she said: 'Right now I’m trying to just finish my record and getting through the last season of Gossip Girl. So not so much thinking about that. But it’s awesome that everyone is, ya know, working towards a good cause.'
But things could have been very different for the former child star, whose first acting job was a 'Shake 'n' Bake' advertisement aged three.
At the age of nine, she was beaten to the role of tween favourite Hannah Montana by Miley Cyrus - something she now counts as a blessing.
'Honestly, if I’d have ended up as Hannah Montana, I don’t know if the show would have gone as well,' she told Style magazine.
'I probably would have told them all to go f*** themselves by the time I hit 11. And I don’t know how that would have gone down. It’s great for Miley, but I really like where I am right now and I feel really fortunate to be able to really be myself.'
New Look is not the only brand to harness the marketing potential of Momsen's rebellious image. The actress has also just launched a fragrance, Love Rocks, with Victoria's Secret.
And given that she has just joined the likes of Elizabeth Jagger, Lara Stone, Miranda Kerr and Heidi Klum on the books at top model agency IMG, they won't be the last.
